SECTION LAYOUT 

A “section” typically refers to a distinct and separate part of a web page that contains related content. Website builders often use a “section layout” approach to help users structure and design their web pages more easily. This is the best layout to use if you want to save your work as a global block. 

 

How to use the Section Layout? 

 
STEP 1: Simply drag and drop the layout inside your section. 

 

STEP 2: Double click the section layout to display the settings for making edits. 

 

STEP 3: Click the menu icon found at the upper right corner of your layout. This will show the settings bar. 
 
 SECTION LAYOUT SETTINGS  

 
1. GLOBE ICON 

This functionality enables you to save a section as a global block, enabling its use across other sections or pages with the same design and set up. However, please remember that any modifications made to the saved global blocks will also lead to corresponding changes in other pages where the global block is utilized. 

 

2. SAVE AS REUSABLE SECTION 

This option feature permits you to modify your saved content without impacting other instances of it. 

By doing so you will be prompted to a pop-up box to create a tag name. Just click the save button once done. 

  

 

3. BACKGROUND IMAGE SETTINGS 
These settings allow you to place an image as the background of a specific element/layout. 

 

4. COLOR 
Color is a powerful design element used in a wide range of contexts. With this option you color various design elements, including text, buttons, links, backgrounds and more. 

 

5. Access the gear icon, in this field you can assign a name to your section. This will simplify the process of locating it when you intend to link this section to a button or any link within your website. 

  • Size: Modify the dimensions (width and height) of individual elements on your webpage. 

  • Padding: Set the space between an element's content and its border. 

 

 

6. SHAPE DIVIDER 

Graphic or design element that is placed at the bottom or top of a section to add a unique visual touch to the layout  

 

7. MOVE COMPONENT 
This enables you to relocate your section more quickly. 

 

8. Clone 
Easily duplicate or copy your element/layout. 

 

9. Trash Bin Icon: 
Delete a specific element/layout when it's no longer needed.
