Steps on how to Set inbox as Default on Automation
Follow these steps to configure your inbox as the default option in your automation settings:
- Step 1: Start by accessing your NexLvL Account Dashboard. Locate the "Automations" tab on the left side of your screen and click on it.
- Step 2: Once you're in the Automations Dashboard, navigate to the "Settings" tab, which is positioned at the upper section of your screen.
- Step 3: In the Settings section, you'll find the option to designate your default email. If you've already set up an email within your account and wish to make it the default, click on the dropdown button to view your existing options.
- Step 4: After configuring your default email, go back to the left pane and click on the "Inbox" tab. Your Inbox will now display all incoming messages.
- Step 5: Next, access the "Database" tab, also located on the left side of your screen.
- Step 6: Within the Database Dashboard, you'll find a list of all your contacts. To test your messaging system, search for your own email address or name and select the checkbox next to it. Ensure that the chosen email matches the one you've set as the default in your automation settings.
- Step 7: Once you've made your selection, a white box section will appear automatically. This is where you can compose your message, and your default email will be preselected at the top. You can also use the dropdown option in this section to choose an alternate email address if needed.
- Step 8: When your message is ready, click the "Send" button. After sending, check your inbox to confirm that you've received the test message.
- Step 9: Return to the "Automations" tab on the left pane. Under your automation settings, you will now see that your default email is already configured. This confirms that you have successfully set your Inbox as the default option for Automation.
